According to a GoFundMe website set up by the groom’s mother, Annette Hutchinson, the golf cart was tossed more than 100 yards and repeatedly rolled.
Jamie Lee Komoroski, 25, who has claimed to have been driving when her car struck Samantha Miller and Aric Hutchinson’s golf cart. Komoroski was allegedly drove a car while his blood alcohol content was three times the legal limit. Police asked Komoroski to perform the sobriety test but she refused and nearly fell down, authorities said. Several witnesses reportedly described her as “dazed and confused.”
Komoroski has been charged with three charges of felony DUI causing serious bodily harm and one case of reckless homicide. She hired both high-profile attorneys, Atty. Nathan S. Williams and Atty. Christoper S. Gramiccioni to represent her in court, according to FOX News. The lawyers of Komoroski advised people not to “rush to judgement.” Komoroski filed for bail but was denied, and she is expected to be remanded in jail until her trial.
