On Wednesday, authorities reported that they had discovered human remains protruding from a dumpster in the TD Bank parking lot in Queens, New York City.
The local TD Bank branch in Queens, New York City, was the scene of an anonymous 911 caller reporting seeing what seemed to be a foot protruding out of the dumpster, according to the New York Police Department.
At around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, when officials first arrived at the site, they found a human limb immersed in the bin.
The inquiry, according to police, is ongoing.
