Gang Member Apprehended: Attempted Murders Unveiled in Tulare County

Following the shooting at a petrol station back in April, detectives in the South Valley have made a second arrest.

Jose Armas, 19, was detained by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday for two counts of attempted murder and a gang enhancement.

Detectives also discovered an AR-15-style firearm in the house where Armas was detained.

According to the investigation, on April 29, Armas and Andres Castillo shot a guy at a petrol station on Road 128 in Orosi.

Castillo was taken into custody that day, and the victim survived.

According to detectives, Armas was located thanks to evidence from an earlier this month gunshot and carjacking.
