On Monday night, a man was shot and killed outside of a convenience store in northwest Harris County. As a result, authorities have started an investigation.

Just before 8:30 o’clock that evening, a gunshot took place in the 15300 block of Ella Boulevard close to Barren Spring.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said one male, believed to be in his early 20s, was discovered wounded by a gunshot when deputies arrived and was pronounced dead at the site.
Gonzalez said that the man was shot as he stood outside the petrol station by a white pickup truck that was heading east.
According to Gonzalez, the white pickup truck afterward left the scene and headed south. A previous message from the sheriff to X also referenced a potential black vehicle leaving after the incident.
According to Gonzalez, it is unclear how many individuals were in the truck.
Authorities made no more mention of a potential suspect description.
