Fatal Shooting Claims Man’s Life in Downtown Las Vegas

Two males are wanted in connection with the deadly shooting of another man in downtown Las Vegas on Sunday evening, according to police.

According to Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Jason Johansson, the incident happened around 4:55 p.m. at the junction of Third Street and Utah Avenue, near Las Vegas Boulevard.

According to Johansson, a man in his 30s was with two males he knew when they got into an incident and the man in his 30s was shot. The two other men fled north on Las Vegas Boulevard.

Johansson stated that no comprehensive details of either man were provided.

“Knowing this area I know there’s likely a lot more witnesses than what we currently have,” Johansson was quoted as saying.

Southbound Las Vegas Boulevard was restricted from Fourth Street to Wyoming Avenue. According to Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Andrew Kelvington, Utah was closed at Third.
