A 23-year-old Florida man is facing charges after police say he handed a note demanding a laundry list of prescription medicines, including Viagra, to drugstore personnel.

According to the Orlando Police Department, Thomas Mues gave a handwritten note to chemists at a CVS store at 6 p.m., indicating he had a gun and would shoot them if the drugs listed on the paper were not provided.

“THIS IS A (sic) ARMED Robbery!!!” Mues wrote in the note, according to police. “Please cooperate, I don’t want to hurt you. You are not to alarm anybody or I will shoot the closest person to me! Please follow these directions or I will shoot the closest person to me!”

The heist note was described by investigators as “detailing a long list of very specific demands,” with six types of drugs specified and directions.

The 23-year-old ordered that Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Xanax, Adderall, liquid codeine, and Viagra be placed in a bag.

Officers arrived on the scene as Mues was walking out of the store, according to a news release. Officers pursued him on foot and eventually apprehended him.

At the time of his arrest, he was still in possession of the stolen drugs and his written message, according to police.

Mues revealed to police that he travelled to Orlando from Jacksonville to “carry out the plan” and also confessed to another similar crime in Central Florida.

Mues faces various robbery, trafficking, and possession charges, according to Orlando police.
