Nine people were injured and one person died in a nighttime shooting at a home party in Indianapolis, according to authorities on Sunday. As per the reports, Officer Samone Burris of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said that when officers heard gunfire after midnight and noticed a sizable crowd leaving the area, they were already on their way to the spot following reports of a big party.
According to authorities, nine individuals, aged 16 to 22, were hurt and one girl is reportedly deceased. after a party on the northeast side of the city. The injured individuals are said to be in stable condition after receiving their meds on time, police told on Saturday morning. The authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased woman.
Officer Samone Burris states that the investigation is ongoing and aims to identify the factors that contributed to the large-scale shooting as well as the individuals involved.
Several arms are rumoured to have been discovered at the crime scene by the investigators and and they also placed the accused under arrest.
