According to authorities, a school system employee in Pilot Point, Texas, was fired after being arrested and accused of allegedly grooming a teenage student.

In a press release, the Pilot Point Independent School District Police Department stated that Javier Errisuriz, 35, an athletic trainer for the district, was accused of child grooming, a third-degree felony in the state of Texas.
On October 30, 2023, police stated they received information about possible criminal activity involving Errisuriz and a 17-year-old student.
According to reports, the trainer started acting inappropriately towards the pupil in September 2023.
After being made aware of the claims, Errisuriz was placed on administrative leave by the school district, and a criminal investigation was launched by the police.
His employment was terminated on November 2, 2023, as a result of the police department presenting evidence to district officials while the criminal investigation was still ongoing.
On November 10, 2023, Errisuriz was subsequently taken into custody and lodged at the Denton County Jail.
Errisuriz’s bond was set by a court at $25,000, and records from the Denton County Jail show that the amount has already been posted.
From July 2023 to November 2023, Errisuriz worked at Pilot Point ISD. More precisely, he worked at Pilot Point High School. Before that, he worked at Keller High School in Keller ISD and Canyon Lake High School in Comal ISD.
