Walmart Shooting in Ohio: 4 Hospitalized, Police Investigate Incident

A guy entered a Walmart in Beavercreek, Ohio, on Monday night and started shooting, injuring four people and sending them to the hospital, according to authorities.

According to the authorities, the event took place near Beavercreek, Ohio’s Greene County, not far from Dayton, at about 8:35 p.m. ET.

According to Beavercreek Police, the gunman seems to have shot himself in the head before passing away.

On Monday night, the Beavercreek Police were assisted in their investigation by the FBI, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, and other nearby agencies.

The police released a statement saying, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families impacted by this horrific tragedy.”

The condition of individuals who were taken to the hospital was not known to the police.

Additionally, Walmart told  News in a statement that its employees were “heartbroken.”

The firm released a statement saying, “We’re heartbroken by what’s happened at our Beavercreek, Ohio store.” “This remains a developing situation, and we’re working closely with investigators on the scene.”

According to police, they will provide an update on Tuesday. There were no more details at this time.
