Canton

Canton, in Stark County, has the highest overall crime rate in Ohio, with 42.21 crimes committed per 1,000 residents. At 8.05 crimes per 1,000 residents, the city’s violent crime rate is also high.

Toledo

Toledo has a high overall crime rate of 39.35 crimes per 1,000 residents, making it the fourth-largest city in Ohio. The city has a violent crime rate of 9.06 per 1,000 residents.

Akron

Akron has a high overall crime rate of 38.77 crimes per 1,000 residents, making it the fifth-largest city in Ohio. The city has a violent crime rate of 9.01 per 1,000 residents.
