According to local sources, a Muslim family in Nashville, Tennessee, was taken into custody early on Tuesday after they allegedly beat their kid for becoming a Christian.
According to an arrest warrant obtained by FOX 17, the victim said officers his mother, father, and brother had hit him and spat in his face several times.
According to the arrest records, the mother, Rawaa Khawaji, used a knife to sever the back of the man’s right hand.
The victim claimed that his family was pressuring him to convert back to Islam and give up Christianity.
