According to the Times Union, Sena vanished after taking a bike ride in the park while she and her family were camping. She is characterised as being 90 pounds, White, 5 feet 1 inches tall, and having blonde hair.

On Sunday afternoon, the Democratic governor of New York Kathy Hochul held a press conference to discuss Sena’s abduction. When the governor met with Sena’s parents, she described them as “obviously distraught.”

“They [were] here to make memories, the kind that lasts a lifetime,” Hochul said. “But instead, the day turned into every parent’s nightmare.”

“Everybody thought of her as just a really nice girl, the kind that people wanted to be friends with, the kind that looked out for other children,” she added. “The pride of every parent. So it’s a very hard time for her family.”

Sena is from the county of Saratoga. In an effort to locate her, numerous agencies are utilising airboats, bloodhounds, K-9s, and ATVs.

“The child was taken under circumstances that lead police to believe that they are in imminent danger of serious harm and/or death,” the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children stated online.

Around 6:45 p.m., a call concerning her missing was made to the police. It appears that her bike was found, although it’s unclear whether family members or emergency personnel found it.

“She is a highly intelligent, adventurous 9-year-old – but obviously this is out of character for her,” State Police Troop G Public Information Officer Stephanie O’Neil told the Times Union.
