According to court records, Harper Woods resident Jonathan Welch entered a guilty plea in July to charges relating to the murders of his mother, Flossie Nicole Bray; stepfather, Robert Bray Jr.; and son’s mother, Zlayiah Frazier.

Welch was already serving a term of up to 30 years in prison, having been found guilty of breaking into a home and torturing Frazer during an attack last summer. In one instance, he was released on bond at the time of the murders.

Although Frazier made it through the initial attack, Welch killed him a few weeks later while he was on bond.

Welch was also given a 20–40-year sentence for the murder of 24-year-old Natalya Morse.

The sentences that were given on Wednesday will be served one after the other.
