Breaking News: 2020 KIA Forte Stolen! Thief on the Loose in Cleveland

A car thief was on the loose in Cleveland, stealing a woman’s Kia car while she was in Tremont, Cleveland for work.

According to the police, on July 11 a woman parked her 2020 Kia Forte on Literary Road, 2200 block, says 19 News.

The woman came back to the parking area and discovered that her car was already stolen. The model 2020 Kia forte is a sleek, spacious sporty car that has a starting price of $25,110.

Based on the surveillance photos of the Cleveland Division of Police Second District Community Relations Committee the 2020 Kia forte model was color black.

Suspect Breaking Window Video Captured

The suspect of the said crime was video captured, around 9 p.m. coming out from a black 2013 Hyundai Sonata before finally forcedly breaking the window of 2020 Kia forte and stealing it.

Police officers gives warning to the type of car that people drive could be the reason for them to be the target of the thieves. According to the report in 19 News the Westlake Police said that from the August 5 to 11 there have been six thieves that mostly steals Kia vehicles and Hyundais.

Furthermore, the most concerning part according to the authorities was the social media guiding thieves providing information to easily steal cars.
