Brian Laundrie’s Mother Drove Her Murdering Son’s Mustang To Gabby Petito’s Deposition: Know More Here

Brian Laundrie’s parents left their North Port, Florida, home at 8 a.m. Wednesday, driving their silver Ford Mustang convertible to be questioned by an attorney for their son’s former fiancée.

It’s the same car Laundrie parked at Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park the night he escaped with a waterproof bag and one of his father’s weapons.

Brian Laundrie's Mother Drove Her Murdering Son's Mustang To Gabby Petito's Deposition: Know More Here

Laundrie confessed to killing Gabby Petito in Wyoming in a suicide note. Before shooting himself in the head in a Florida swamp, he travelled across the nation in his mother’s van to his parent’s property, where his family went camping for Labour Day and refused to help with detectives looking for Petito, who was declared missing at the time.

The Petito-Schmidt family’s lawyer, Patrick Reilly, is due to question the killer’s mother, Roberta Laundrie, on Wednesday. On Tuesday, he deposed her husband, Christopher Laundrie.

Gabby’s father, Joseph Petito, sat in on the initial interview and later stated, “it was a lot to handle emotionally.” As the Laundries were leaving their North Port house on Wednesday morning, he shared a picture of a rainbow over a Florida road to X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Headed to another deposition dreading the emotional torment that is about to occur, and I see this,” he wrote. “Thank you Gabs for showing me it will be OK.”
