Police in California are searching for a guy who may have broken into a clothes store and racked the shelves using a car after being seen on camera.

California Burglar Allegedly Crashed An SUV Into A Lululemon Store And Fled With Clothes

The Oakland Police Department has released CCTV footage showing a silver SUV backing into the Lululemon athleisure store on Tuesday, leaving a path of broken glass in its wake.

After that, the camera pans inside the store, where the male suspect is seen snatching clothing from one display while bending over a table.

A pair of trousers from Lululemon costs more than $100.

The suspect’s SUV leaves a trail of destruction in the security tape, even if it does not show the SUV smashing into the storefront.

“As you can see, the level of destruction that occurred to this business just for a person to go in and take a pair of pants is just ridiculous,” Oakland Police Assistant Chief Tony Jones said at a news conference Thursday.

“We can bring justice to this business,” Jones said, pleading with anyone who knew the individual to come forward.

He claimed that the suspected burglar seen on camera is also accountable for breaking into an auto dealership nearby.

Protesters in downtown Oakland on Thursday broke glass at Walgreens, Starbucks, and Wells Fargo as part of a violent pro-Palestinian demonstration.

“Some of these businesses have been broken into multiple times,” Jones said. “And it’s just devastating to their ability to do business.”
