Colorado Shooting Manhunt: 3 Dead, 1 Injured, Officials Launch Investigation

Authorities in Custer County, Colorado, were looking for a suspect late Monday in a shooting that killed three people and injured another.

A property dispute on Rocky Ridge Road may have resulted in a gunshot at a “property line in the wooded area,” according to a Custer County Government Public Information Office announcement.

Hanme K. Clark was recognised as the suspect by Custer County officials.

“Suspect is driving a White Ram 1500 pickup with a topper, Colorado licence plate: BHLK27,” claimed law enforcement officers.

Officials said law officers responded to a report of shots fired about 1 p.m. Monday. About 20 minutes later, a local SWAT unit arrived.

According to police, three persons were fatally shot: two males and a woman. According to county officials, another lady who was shot was in serious condition but was expected to live.

“Custer County Sheriff, Rich Smith, called for a shelter in place while they were searched for the suspect,” the release stated.

The sheriff’s office reported the shelter-in-place order was withdrawn at 8 p.m.
