A 15-foot skiff started to sink on the Intercoastal Waterway in Martin County, Florida, due to strong winds and choppy waves, according to a social media post made by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office regarding the rescue operation.

When the boat started to sink, there were two men on board.

The small boat was starting to sink when Mark Cocorullo observed it from outside his back door.

“At some point, a wave went over the bow of the boat, and it flooded the boat,” Cocorullo told sources.

Both guys were saved before the boat was submerged by marine deputies from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office who were cruising the Intracoastal.

The two men were unharmed.

“Our Marine Unit did an amazing job once again,” the Martin County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook.
