On social media, the Ocala Police Department declared that they have increased the prize to $10,000 for information that results in the arrest of Albert Shell Jr., 39, who is charged with shooting and killing 40-year-old David Nathaniel Barron inside the Ocala Paddock Mall.

“We are still actively searching for the Paddock Mall murder suspect, Albert Shell Jr., and we’re now offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who provides information of his location that will lead to his arrest,” police posted.

Following his opening fire inside the mall on Saturday, which killed Barron and injured a woman, Shell Jr. is reportedly wanted on counts of premeditated first-degree murder and attempted premeditated first-degree murder, according to officials.

While a woman was discovered with a gunshot wound to her leg and was transported to the hospital with what the police characterised as a non-life-threatening condition, Barron was discovered dead inside the mall.

Numerous other people were hurt during the incident, according to authorities, including one who had a fractured arm and another who was experiencing chest problems.

Following the incident, Shell fled the mall, according to the police.
