Iowa Republicans Unfazed By Trump Comparisons to Hitler

Donald Trump doubled down his controversial immigration rhetoric during a campaign speech in Waterloo, Iowa on Tuesday night. He also said that the immigrants who had entered U.S. illegally are “destroying the blood of our country” but he never read Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” manifesto. But the republicans in the Hawkeye State had been seen mostly unconcerned with Biden’s comment and this leads the comparisons to Hitler by the Biden administration and some historians. Some of the Iowans have not planned to caucus for Trump were unmoved by his controversial rhetoric.

A Belmond resident who attended Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s campaign stop in Mason City on Tuesday named Dallas Johnson said that he is indifferent and still deciding whether to caucus for DeSantis or former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley because Trump is too bogged down by legal issues to win a general election.

During a New Hampshire campaign rally, Trump said illegal migrants poisoning the blood of our country and this lead to made him under fire.

During the time of his Iowa rally, Vice President Kamala Harris in an TV interview tried tying Trump’s words to the infamous Nazi Party leader. Harris said that it is language that people have rightly found similar to the language of Hitler.
