On a Saturday morning, police responded to a distressing 911 call reporting a potential break-in at an apartment on Whitemarsh Court. Upon arrival, officers were confronted with a gruesome scene that involved the lifeless bodies of a woman and a dog, both victims of apparent gunshot wounds, along with a man who has had his head shot with a gun in Little Egg Harbor. Law enforcement authorities identified the woman as 49-year-old Kimberly Hoffman from Little Egg Harbor Township. Tragically, she was killed by her ex-husband, Carl Schulz, Jr., aged 52, who was also found deceased at the scene.
