Ohio Woman Accused of Fatally Drugging 4 Men After Sexual Encounters, Officials Report

An Ohio lady has been charged with murder in the deaths of at least four men, according to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

According to state Attorney General Dave Yost, Rebecca Auborn, 33, is suspected of meeting men for sex at hotels in Ohio’s capital city of Columbus before drugging and robbing them. According to the attorney general’s office, four of Auborn’s accused victims died of overdoses between December 2022 and June 2023.

According to the attorney general’s office, a fifth person survived. Investigators fear there may be further victims.

“Don’t buy sex in Ohio – it ruins lives and could cost you yours,” Yost said last week in a statement.

According to the attorney general’s office, Auborn faces four counts of murder, four counts of involuntary manslaughter, five counts of aggravated robbery, five counts of felonious assault, five counts of corrupting another with drugs, one count of tampering with evidence, and four counts of drug trafficking. The charges are all felonies.

Auborn risks decades in prison if she is convicted on all charges. She is currently imprisoned in Franklin County.

What exactly is Auborn accused of?

Auborn, from northeast Columbus, had no prior criminal record until early this year, when police say she began meeting men for sex and drugging them in order to rob them. According to records, she has at least one kid and had a daughter who died at the age of 18 days in November 2016.

According to the accusation, Auborn gave the guys fentanyl before robbing them. The meetings are thought to have taken place in northeast Columbus hotels.

According to the indictment, the fatal overdoses occurred on January 15, April 1, April 13, and June 17. On December 13, 2022, the fifth survivor met Auborn.

Authorities charged Auborn in September in connection with the Jan. 15 incident that led in the death of a 30-year-old man. Auborn was charged with aggravated robbery, felonious assault, murder, drug corruption of another, drug trafficking, and illicit drug manufacture in that instance.

According to court records from another case, Auborn told officers that she mixed fentanyl in a man’s crack pipe after meeting him for sex. According to court records, Auborn told officers she knew the man was overdosing but grabbed his vehicle and debit card nevertheless.
