Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell released a statement announcing that Manuel Anthony Sierra, 22, received a sentence after entering a guilty plea to the drive-by shooting. Additionally, the prosecutor stated that 32 victims received lifelong injunctions that prevented Sierra from communicating with them for the remainder of his life.

Prosecutors claim that over a six-month period in 2021 and 2022, Sierra travelled to 11 different homes and arbitrarily opened fire on both cars and dwellings.

His ex-girlfriend’s family members were present for all but one of the shootings. Officials reported that bullets struck windows in the living room, bedroom, and front door, but no one was hurt.

Sierra allegedly set a car on fire as well.

Sierra’s phone and video surveillance were utilised by investigators to link him to every event. Two handguns were discovered in his home and the cars used in the shootings matched the bullet casings from the scenes. Sierra had also extensively researched family members and texted threats from an unknown number, according to his phone records.
