On Friday morning, someone called the police in the 4400 block of Tall Knight Lane reporting that a man had been stabbed by his wife.

The man was taken by Carrollton Fire Rescue to a nearby hospital for medical attention. It’s anticipated he will live.

A separate report about the man’s wife and the three children—ages eight, nine, and twelve—in the backseat of a car that had been driven into a lake was made to police officers in the nearby town of Lewisville.

The four people inside the car were sent to nearby hospitals. According to FOX 4, a Lewisville police officer had to perform CPR on one youngster, while another was revived en route to the hospital.

According to authorities, the other children’s conditions are stable, but one child’s condition is still critical.

What exactly caused the stabbing and the car crash that followed is still unknown. Before the attack, neighbours reported to the station that they had heard screaming and yelling.

Ong was scheduled to be moved to Denton County Detention after being arrested by the Carrollton Police Department. Uncertainty surrounds whether she has hired a lawyer to represent her.
