Outlaw previously reported that there were two knives inside the car, but was unable to clarify whether Irizarry was in possession of them or whether the cop had given a warning before firing into the vehicle. Garcia claimed that her nephew enjoyed working on cars and thought the knives might have been intended tools for working in cars. According to his aunt, Eddie Irizarry’s family intends to sue the Philadelphia Police Department for Eddie Irizarry’s death.
