Rosalin Lewis, 24, was discovered dead inside an apartment by Jasper, Texas, police in the early hours of November 18, according to KBMT.

Police determined that “blunt force trauma” was the cause of her death.

Livingston resident William Christian Thomas, 23, who was her boyfriend, was taken into custody and accused of killing her. His bond was set at $1 million by a court.

According to a GoFundMe, her family set up, she has three children, ages three and two.

As to the fundraiser, the young mother was “taken away for her family from a malicious act of someone she trusted and once loved.”

Lewis intended to continue coaching cheerleading and pursue a career as a veterinary technician.

“Rosalin’s impact was so amazing that every young girl she trained became a Cheerleader for Jasper High School. Rosalin will truly be missed and her legacy will live on forever with the love and memories from her children, family, team, friends and the Jasper community,” the fundraiser states.
