Homeless Sex Offender From San Francisco Returns To The Playground After Frightening Neighbors: Know More Here

After stirring up controversy the previous year by giving away free fentanyl to neighbours, heroin addict and homeless sex offender Joseph Adam Moore made a surprise return to a San Francisco playground.

The San Francisco Chronicle claimed on Wednesday that Moore “said he spent time in jail and was released in early March after his December conviction for creating a public nuisance.”

However, the outlet claims that Moore returned to Argonne Playground “about 25 yards away from a swing set where a group of toddlers played with their caretakers” despite being found guilty of a “public nuisance charge” in the previous year.

“I am here because I was pushed here,” Moore said, telling the Chronicle that he could not stay in Santa Cruz because of his status as a convicted sex offender, per “Santa Cruz County court records showing he was convicted of lewd acts with a minor under 14 in 1997.”

“Spokespersons at the district attorney’s office could not immediately confirm the length of his sentence,” the paper reported.

“We are in close contact with Capt. (Chris) Canning who is monitoring the situation,” an aide of Supervisor Connie Chan told the Chronicle.

Moore was confronted by two city park officials, who claimed that he “did not appear to be bothering anyone or violating any park rules,” the source reported.

Moore caused controversy last year as well when he put up a banner offering free fentanyl to nearby residents.

In an image published by the San Francisco Chronicle, one sign says, “Free fentanyl 4 new users.” “Meth for stolen items!” The text on the opposite sign says.

“It’s not a joke,” Moore told the Chronicle at the time.

“It’s horrible,” parent Nathaniel Weiner told the Chronicle of the signs advertising fentanyl.

A request for a response from Fox News Digital was not answered by the San Francisco Police Department, Supervisor Chan (who represents residents in the Richmond District), or San Francisco Mayor London Breed.
